Hey folks today we are repairing an Volvo XC60 with a door that is completely out of order. What's the problem? Lets find out! Right turn signal blinking rapidly indicating failed bulb or open circuit. Both front and rear bulbs checked OK, but when pressed front bulb sideways in socket (while removed from headlight light housing), problem cleared, and bulb blinked @normal rate. Checked voltage at female connector, and good, but not up within socket, itself. DSTC service required S60 & V60 '11-'18 / XC60 '09-'17 It's had some new tyres for a while and yesterday I have plugged a 12v splitter cable to the 12v socket in the boot to power my Dashcam and the footwell lighting. The next day when I went to recover the car the message had disappeared and the car appeared to be working OK. I drove Volvo Owners Club Forum > "Technical Topics" > S60 & V60 '18> / XC60 '17> / S90 & V90 '16> / XC90 '15> General > 12v Sockets not working. PDA. View Full Version : 12v Sockets not working. HairyMonster. Dec 31st, 2021, 17:03. All 3 of my 12v Sockets are not working, after using a dodgy 2 into 1 adapter. All 3 15A fuses are ok Any help welcome Do not use an accessory that uses more than 12 V 10 A. 120 VAC Do not use a 120 VAC appliance that requires more than 100 W. If a 120 VAC appliance that consumes more than 100 W is used, the protection circuit will cut the power supply. To prevent battery discharge Do not use the power outlet longer than necessary when the engine is not running. Coolant recently flushed/replaced and not leaking; Air conditioning works great until the car starts to overheat a bit, at idle (classic symptoms of fan trouble). New fan assembly; New Volvo genuine fan controller from the dealer (previously tried both a $30 amazon one - didn't work, and a more expensive Gates one - didn't work). bernvx.
